Scoring

There are three aspects to scoring, Retrievals, Ground Catches  and Air Catches.

Retrievals.  If a dog retrieves a disc from the ground after it has landed, 1 point will be awarded, if the disc has landed further than the 10 meter line.

The Ground Catch is worth the value of the zone in which the disc was caught , This will be determined by the zone in which the dogs rear-most foot is at the time of the catch and that the dog had at least one paw on the ground at the time of catch.

The Air Catch is worth the value of the zone in which the dog lands after making a successful catch plus an additional one point bonus is awarded. To qualify for the bonus point the disc must have been caught with all of your dog’s  feet off the ground. The points awarded will be determined by the dogs rear-most foot at the time of landing.
